The Spanish FA will co-organize the 2019 World Soccer Congress

After a successful 2018 edition, the 2019 WSC will take place on April 12-13 in Barcelona.

The 2019 World Soccer Congress is jointly driven by Palabe Consulting and the Spanish FA (RFEF), a unique event scheduled for April 12-13 2019 at the Sofía Hotel in Barcelona. The second edition of the World Soccer Congress will bring together football’s top organizations, such as FIFA, UEFA or the Spanish FA. More than 50 speakers from all over the world are expected to attend this milestone event, together with more than 500 football stakeholders.

The 2019 WSC will be presented on 12 December 2018 during a round table on “the evolution of women’s football” held at the headquarters of the Spanish FA. This round table will introduce the audience to one of WSC’s main topics, the role of women in football’s industry.

The round table is set to start at 11:30am, moderated by Dolores Martelli, Head of RFEF Women’s Football. Jorge Vilda, manager of the Spain women's national football team, Toña Is, U-17 Spain women’s national football team manager, which won the last U-17 FIFA women’s World Cup, Juan Jesús Corrales, WSC Managing Director, María Teixidor i Jufresa, Head of FC Barcelona Women’s Football and Alfredo Ulloa, Chairman of Madrid CFF will also be present.

At the WSC, we aim to become an open space for debate that will help’s football growth. That is our main purpose and in order to accomplish, several round tables will be held in order to engage the audience, such us; “VAR and Refereeing; Experience, use and development”, “Latest updates on the FIFA RSTP and Intermediaries Regulations”, “Values, Ethics and Governance in Football”, “Sustainable Development: FIFA Forward Program”, “Digital Challenges in Football: Media rights, E-Sports and OTT”, “Minors’ right protection in Football”, “The need for Integrity in Football”, “New models of Football Sponsoring”, “Media influence in Football”, “Football, a tool for social impact”, “The Evolution of Women’s soccer: The Spanish Case (R.F.E.F)”, “Football Challenges for the 21st Century, Implementing big data in Football” or “Coach’s leadership in Football”.

The 2019 World Soccer Congress is an event you cannot miss and thanks to RFEF’s help, our message for a future in which football will truly become a tool for social and technological change will be fully heard.
